Currently, we are able to see our fall-off based on end dates, but we are unable to see what's going in until the placement is approved, which usually happens in the current week that the consultant walks in. This gives us no insight into the upcoming spread for the current or next week until it's already in the door.
Moving forward we are going to require four additional data points to be entered prior to creating a Placement for any candidate. These four fields (Start Date, End Date, Pay Rate, and Bill Rate) on the Offer record associated with a candidate application. This will allow the analytics team to provide updated forecasting for upcoming revenue.
How this affects the workflow:
During the AMS workflow, you will now be required to enter details into the Offer record generated during the AMS process. Ideally, you will enter the pay and bill rates in the submission records (those rates will flow onto the offer automatically and allow for edits).
If you try to move a candidate to Prepare for Placement without entering the necessary fields in the Offer stage, you will receive the following error message:
Step by Step:
AMS:
1. Move Candidate to Submittal > Navigate back to the submittal record > Enter pay and bill rates:
2. Move Candidate to Offer Stage > Navigate back to Offer record and Enter Estimated Start Date and Estimated End Date OR click on the Log Offer button top right corner
3. Now upon moving this candidate to Prepare for Placement you will notice both the date fields and the rate fields auto-populate!
