Usage: This article is designed to help consultants set up their Outlook email, Microsoft Authenticator, Teams, and/or RingCentral accounts, if applicable.
Getting Set Up (Outlook Email + Microsoft Authenticator)
Once you have received your email and temporary password, please follow these steps on getting set up!
Step 1: Go to Outlook.com and click "Sign In"
Step 2: Log in with the email and password that have been given to you
Step 3: You will be prompted to set up a new password
(Please follow the on-screen instructions)
Step 4: You will then be prompted to set up the Authenticator app!
When setting up the multi-factor authentication, you will need to download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device!
Step 6: Install the Microsoft Authenticator app (search "Microsoft Authenticator" on your mobile device's app store.
Step 7: Open the app and allow notifications
Step 8: Select "Add Work or School Account", click "Scan QR Code", and scan the QR code displayed on your screen!
Step 9: Click "Next" and go through the MFA test run!
Step 10: If asked, input your phone number and input your code.
You will now have finished getting set up with your email and the Microsoft Authenticator app!
Notice: When getting a new mobile phone, you may experience issues with your Authenticator app. You will need to reach out to the Eight Eleven Group Information Technology team to get your authenticator reset!
